You'll be levelling until WoW becomes too old and they start shutting servers down (though I can't imagine when that'll be tbh):P

I'm partial to the way Hero classes will be implemented. I had hoped they would bring another element to character customization, but they are just a new class for hardcore people who don't really want to level another char from level 1.

I thought the plan had been to make Hero classes specialized to each class, but just leaving it open to anyone who wants to is just lazy. Basically, they couldn't be bothered to work on 9 hero classes each

Also, I just read Dalaran will be a neutral city. Which is awesome. But it will be in a new location. Which is... wtf?

when i first heard of hero classes ages ago, i thought they'd be class specific. So a priest has its own, warlock has its own and so forth. Or one for each talent specialisation. So a DPS paladin becomes a crusader, a holy paladin becomes a holy knight (as apposed to deathknight) etc. If it was like that, then they should take over your current character, not give you the chance to make a new one.

I want to play a Death Knight. It's the class I wanted to play prior to WoW ever announcing what classes it would have. So, in my humble opinion, your current character should lose it's current class and gain the new class. You'd be the same race, look the same, retain your level and gear, but would no longer be a hunter, mage, or what have you - you'd be a death knight.

A sacrifice? Yes. Will it prevent everyone and their mother from having high level death knights? Yes.

And I'd sacrifice my 70 (then 80, I spose) hunter to be a Death Knight (as long as theyre balanced and don't totally suck). Death Knights are neat :P

Everyone and their mother won't have a death knight. You'll need to level to 80 and then finish a quite extensive questline.

similiar to that of the epic warlock mount questline, so its not going to be that difficult.
everyone who wants to be a deathknight, will be a deathknight.

Netherdragon :P

You'll have to go with your race's mount, unless you fancy grinding cloth to get to Exalted with someone else.

then farm TONNES of cloth and hand it into the right NPC. once you hit exalted, the mounts yours.
its easier for the 60 mount, as there are black plated epic mounts as PVP rewards, but you dont need rep to choose one.
