Awwwe, thanks guys

From my experience at 70 raiding Marksman hunters are good to have around - but they won't top your DPS charts. Shockingly, I do considerably more DPS since I switched to beast. I outdamage marksman hunters by a very large sum when you include pet damage. The ferocious inspiration buff is also more useful than trueshot, in my opinion, since it increases caster damage as well - my group always appreciates the buff. With kill command being useful now (plus the pet's stats just being obsurd with crit and attack speed), theres really no time ferocious inspiration isn't up.
I thought I'd really hate beast for raiding (and even pvp), but honestly I feel as though it was an improvement all around (save for maybe those rare times I have to fight without a pet, then I miss marks a little mainly for scatter shot hehe).
No silence pulls either, but mages and marks hunters can handle that stuff. I've also just said screw it and used the BE racial to manage a freeze where I needed it to be as apposed to a casters pull-spot, so theres ways around that.
Unfortunately we attempted shade last night with no warlocks and no priests, which didn't work out well. Our interruptors were way off queue so while we managed to DPS him down reletively fast and past the elemental spawns, without those key classes the mass sheep/pyro would do us in every time. (Mainly because there would be hate on the healers from the four elementals, which means they'd break his mass sheep on the healers and damage them, then comes the 8K pyroblasts which would instantly obliderate at least two healers due to the elemental interference). Which of course, meant raid wipe very quickly with everyone 8K health down, four elementals blasting, and him returning to his regular damage rotation.
We called it til tonight when our warlock and priest will be available. I think we can do it then with no problems.
