Aloah, from Hawii
« on: January 29, 2005, 10:17:35 am »
Hey, all I don't know if you know this or not but I'm currently in a hotel in Waikiki.  Enjoying the surf and the sun.

Went to the USS Arazona memorial this morning.  It's a pretty somber note, but I did enjoy it.  Remind me to share pictures with ya'll when I do get back to my bloved high speed DSL line.  (I miss you baby!  Daddy's coming home)

Other than that I'm enjoying myself, and as they say, "Wish you were here."

How can you say that about snow? I'd give anything to have the snow back so I could actually enjoy the winter.

* Laser wonders how many cocktails Bearfoot has downed in the hot Hawaii sun?

Hope your having a lovely time: don't go falling into any volcanoes. Here's how to avoid them: if you see a big mound with hot reddy stuff gooing out it it - run.

Here's a bit of trivia what are the furthermost north/east/west/south states of the US?

I'm not on the right island for volcanos, though I did get to see a rather large hotel fire last night.  Not in my own hotel, thank god, but very visable from it.

Coconut for V-man and I couldn't find a grass skirt, so how about a grass hat?  They're pretty cool, they're like my fedora but they're palm leaves...

Let's see, some Long Board ale for the guy who wanted some beer.. and chocolate covered macadamia nuts for whoever wants them.

(my parents loved visiting before, cuz I love chocolate covered macadamia nuts, and they're INSANELY cheap here.  Like 2 bucks a box.)

Also guys, don't feel too sorry for me, we went to the beach today to do some snorkeling and got caught in a torrential downpour.  Yep, rain in Hawii, lots of it.  And I swallowed enough salt water to make me puke, literally. (I feel sorry for the guys in the car next to ours at the car park.  I managed to keep most of it off of his tire though...)

It was kinda cool seeing the fish though.
