cheers to chompy and sariya, the only people on the forum that can count :)
That was so the last era.

lol at people who use WMP to play music, how annoying must it be??? I'd opt for Winamp (2.8 or something) before I use WMP to play music. !!!!

I use winamp, I couldn't live without it's global hotkeys
Control winamp from whatever program you're running regardless of what else you might be doing.. *such* a good idea

Yeah, Winamp as so many useful features, plus it's great for tagging mp3s, I'd never be able to use another player..

nothing compares to amaroK. lets you do all winamp can and much more. even has direct support for audioscrobbler so it gives you recommendations based on what you've got actually in the app. awesome stuff...

I use a hexeditor to look at the music files and decrypt them in my mind.

I prefer Foobar myself, haven't stopped using it ever since I started.

Mainly becuase it supported ogg, XM files, etcetra by default.

Finally, someone who sees sense!  Although I have been using Foobar recently as I've decided I'm trying to win all the Jedi Knight games in the next fortnight...starting with the 3rd.

*casts resurrect topic*

I found the php code that runs the ever popular Audioscrobbler signature picture thingies.. so if you put in the effort to host you own you can customize it!

The code's here. http://wiki.audioscrobbler.com/index.php/RecentlyPlayedImageV2

And I hosted it here.. but it was a real headache to set up so you might be better off finding somewhere better.

Wow, I only found that forever ago.
