If you ever need support, just PM me.  One of my dreams is to run a sort of "Halfway home" for the TG community.   A place where they can find acceptance and help if they need it...

I think we have a mix of the term sexy. When I see sexy, I see a girl wear baggy trou (pants, for americans); INSERT INTO yabbse_messages (ID_MSG, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, subject, posterName, posterEmail, posterTime, posterIP, smiliesEnabled, modifiedTime, modifiedName, body, icon, attachmentSize, attachmentFilename) VALUES New Rocks, punkyfish top and fishnet and half a ton of accessories including arm warmers and possibly a trucker cap.

Well, what you describe is more skaterpunkish than punk the way I was thinking. I was thinking more old school punk style. Often, that means worn jeans, maybe a freaky hairstyle (mohawks are quite cool); INSERT INTO yabbse_messages (ID_MSG, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, subject, posterName, posterEmail, posterTime, posterIP, smiliesEnabled, modifiedTime, modifiedName, body, icon, attachmentSize, attachmentFilename) VALUES fishnet is quite acceptable (actually, it's more than that - it's really neat); INSERT INTO yabbse_messages (ID_MSG, ID_TOPIC, ID_MEMBER, subject, posterName, posterEmail, posterTime, posterIP, smiliesEnabled, modifiedTime, modifiedName, body, icon, attachmentSize, attachmentFilename) VALUES accesories are not uncommon, but punkyfish tops, trucker caps and such stuff is more or less nonexistant...(such hardcore punkers generally being leftist, and anti-fashion, and Punkyfish being a fashion brand...)

- This might be a tad bit on the trashy side, but it gives an acceptable overall image of what I mean...

And yes, hobby-gay is acting gay just for laughs.

Might I ask what furry-human chess is?

And as for Bearfoot, I understand what you mean (or in the words of Megatokyo, "Relax, we understand j00"). If you feel like it, spill your guts.

And as for gender, I think I'd be equally happy as a male or female. I'm not terribly attached to my penis...(but you won't be allowed to chop it off, nono...).

EDIT:

a) Is it possible to resize pics? That was a tad bit bigger than I'd hoped for...

b) And with my first name being Thomas, what would be the female version? (apart from "Thomasine", which sounds terribly stupid)

Ahh, I see what you mean. Yeah, I'm not really oldskool punk. I'm into the new punk, grunge, sk8er, nu-metaler type. So... all those types are mine. And you can have the punks and goths.

Human chess is where you have a big chess board on the ground and everybody acts as a piece (and I was a general ;D) - Furry-human chess just means that it was us Furs that were playing it, and some even wore their fursuits.

I'd love to be a female, but I'm not interested in the process like Bearfoot and Kas would are.

And say whatever you like, Bearfoot, I think you know we're all pretty open-minded and not easily shocked.

(Dunno the female of Thomas; I thought I did, but I dont :-\)

Meh, I'm pretty lazy. For the last couple of years I've taken the medication and almost fogot about the rest of the process. Parents put a dampener on that :(

But yes, the surgery is supposed to be painful, and sometimes the outlook can be quite grim when you go from one gender, to a nothing, to another...
But I wouldn't trade it for the world. My life is bloody interesting and I love it that way ;)

I was thinking maybe furries vs normal humans. One side is furry-dressed, the other not.

In human/furry-human chess, do you get to do violent killing animations, just as in BattleChess (that old computer chess game)?

And general is the guy who controls the pieces? I'd say that should be the king. The guy being the king should be allowed to scream out commands to his troops. That would be kinda cool...

And sure thing, have the new-punks...I said the real punkers where to freaky for you...... :-)

And to Kasumi: With you being okay with who you are, you're well off. That's probably more than what you could say about the general population of "normal" people.

And how come it suddenly seems like half the forum is transgendered? Wouldn't that be interesting, if the rest of the world followed the demographics of this forum?

It was similar on another forum, actually. I made a single post and three or four members actually said that they'd felt the same.

It's nothing abnormal. Though I'm sure I'm the only person who's taking this further, I expect most thoughtful people have actually questioned what life is like on the other side.

It's not that different. The physical changes are all to be expected, but the biggest difference between male and female is society and how people treat you.
It's funny that the gender gap is only the division in other people's minds, not yours o_O

No, no animated killings - just the piece leaving the field, head bent low in SHAME of being captured.

It would be cool if the king was in charge, but it'd be hard to control if you couldn't leave your spot. The general can move all over to look at the board from all angles.

And yeah, you have the real punkers - I agree, they'd probably be to scary for me. I'll just have the kiddypunks.

The Dark Side? sorry, bad j/k

Anyways, there's only two Torp. That's 0.32% of the forum. So if we apply that to 6 billion people, that equals: 19,200,000 transgenders in the world.

I'm not saying it's abnormal. It just seems like there's a disproportionate number of them in here. You, Bearfoot, semi-Laser, semi-me...

And that the biggest differences between genders are in peoples minds, that's probably true. It doesn't surprise me.

And though you're probably right in that most thoughtful people has wondered what life is like on the other side of the gender gap, there's a problem in that most people are not thoughtful...

19,200,000 transgendered people seems a bit too much for a world figure - so I would agree that there are more trans here than averages would assume. But a lot of transgenders talk a lot on the Internet and so there is a greater chance of people meeting over the WWW.

The other point is that on here there are a lot of open-minded people. There is a less than proportionate number of "twats" here than in most forums. So, if a number of these open-minded individuals are thoughtful about opposite sex possibilties than that also increases the chances.

(Note: I only have the slightest idea of what I'm talking about here. If I'm making no sense, then don't worry, I'm not making sense to myself either)

EDIT: Oh crap, I totally forgot what I'm talking about now :-\ :-\

Wow, I disappear for two days and these are the interesting convos you have without me ;)

First off, you'd all better be leaving some of these hot girls for me! Not really fussed which type, its all the same where it counts ;)

Second, I guess you could loosely say I'm transgendered. I actually identify myself as being bigendered, or half and half. Deep down I know that I should have been born male. You know how guys say that they're lesbians in a man's body? Well I'm a lesbian in a man's body that was born into a female body.... Woo, I just totally confused myself.

Thirdly, this furry-human chess you speak of... is scarily fasinating o_O
